７月のロンドン歩く会・写真レポート Roding Valley nature reserve and Epping Forest Walk Sunday 17th July

朝１０時１５分にバックハーストヒル駅に１２人が集まりました。住宅地を抜け、ロディングバレーに入り、川沿いを歩きます。

今日は31℃まで気温が上がるということですが、森の中の木に囲まれた日陰を歩くと涼しくて、気持ちいいです。

池の前で集合写真を撮り、丘を上がると見晴らしのいいパブに午後１時前に到着。

冷房が効いているので中のテーブルでランチです。

午後２時１５分ごろ、再び出発。ここから森を抜け、エリザベス女王のハンティングロッジを目指します。

午後４時前に到着、本日のリーダー Kevin の作品が展示されているアートの展覧会を見て、駅に向かいます。

４時半、オーバーグラウンドのチングフォード駅で解散。暑い中、無事に歩ききりました。みなさまお疲れ様でした。

Twelve Walkers met at Buckhurst Hill underground station at 10:15am.

We were heading to the Roding valley, although today’s temperature would be reached up to 31 degree, under the forest trees, we walked through nice cooling breeze.

Just before 1 o’clock, we reached pub on top of the hill, where we can see nice view of London.

After lunch departed about 14.15, we entered the high part of Epping Forest heading down and reached Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge about 4pm.

There is an exhibition in the gallery we found our leader Kevin’s masterpiece there.

Chingford Overground Station is a short walk away, we finish today’s walk here.
