４月のロンドン歩く会の写真レポート

It was a brilliant day. We had 22 people including 4 from Ramblers groups. One of members was very helpful in getting everyone organised at the start and later remembered the name of the architect who lived at Owletts that I had forgotten [ Sir Herbert Baker]. Thanks also to other member for being back marker. 


Easter eggs were handed out in Shorne Woods towards the end of the long climb. I made some changes to the route so we arrived at Cobham Hall in good time to enjoy their wonderful tea and home made cakes in the resplendent Gilt Hall. A quick look at the famous brasses in Cobham Church and then a leisurely stroll through the orchards brought us back to Sole Street station in plenty of time for the train back to London. Next walk leader will be a couple gave some details of their forthcoming walk in the Chilterns from Great Missenden to Wendover on 6 May and will send more details for the website. Finally, thanks to everyone for the collection and for coming along and making it such an enjoyable day.
