<5月のロンドン歩く会の写真レポート>Saturday 5th May Bluebell Walk in Guildford

22 people met up at Guildford station at 10am. We walked out of Guildford along the River Wey and then walked along the old Pilgrims Way into Chantry Woods where we saw a big area of English bluebells.

We then walked up to the ancient St Martha's hill church and on to the village of Albury where we had pub lunch.
In the afternoon we walked back to Guildford along footpaths in Chilworth Valley. On the way we walked through the ruins of the old gunpowder mills.

We finished up at the lock on the river Wey behind the Yvonne Arnauld theatre at 4.30. We were lucky to have wonderful sunny weather all day.
